Colorado Winter Elopement Package | Beaver Creek, Colorado in March 2021
Their story: “We met at a local restaurant on a Friday night in August of 2017. I had to cancel 3 times because of my job, and he had dates scheduled for Thursday, Friday and Saturday! We found a seat at the middle of the u-shaped bar. When I looked up, the bar area was full of bourbons. Working for a restaurant company, I have just worked on developing a bourbon for one of our Brands. So, I asked “Do you like Bourbon” and it was the beginning of an immediate connection. Rob teases and says “She had me at Bourbon!” He cancelled his date for Saturday night. One night while we were talking on the phone, I mentioned that my job was taking me to Italy on a pasta/cheese buying trip starting October 15th. Rob said going to Italy was a “bucket list” item for him so jokingly I said, “come with me”. He said “done” and 3 weeks later I was meeting him at one of the most romantic hotels . . . the JW Marriott in Venice – and after only 4 dates. We took a chance and have never looked back! We are very lucky to have found each other and to have a 2nd chance at love & happiness."
Wedding details: Debby and Rob planned a ski vacation to Bachelor Gulch and wanted to wed on their trip. Thus, we found a nice elopement site that had Beaver Creek Ski Resort in the background. We mixed things up a bit and decided to celebrate with bourbon, cake, and a few photos around the area first before heading out to the overlook - what a great way to keep it lighthearted & cheery!
